Last updated: June 30, 2026

SoftwareDLC provides tools for modeling, reviewing, and managing software design lifecycle information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to users and organizations that use our services.

Information we collect

We use service providers to operate SoftwareDLC. They may process personal information, workspace content, or operational data only as needed to provide their services to us and to support SoftwareDLC.

How we use information

AI and imported content

Some features may send relevant project context, prompts, files, artifacts, or graph data to AI providers or processing services in order to generate answers, proposed changes, summaries, or validation results. Users are responsible for ensuring they have the right to submit content they upload, import, or process through the service.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or share sensitive personal information. We may disclose information to service providers that help us host, secure, process payments, deliver email, operate AI features, support developer integrations, or support the service. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention and security

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain audit and security records. Workspace content, source artifacts, prompts, model outputs, and developer API data are generally retained while the account or organization remains active unless deleted earlier through the service or under an applicable retention setting. Billing, tax, compliance, and legal records may be retained for longer periods when required or reasonably necessary. Security logs, API logs, and operational telemetry are retained for a limited period unless we need them to investigate abuse, security events, billing issues, or legal requests. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
